The League of Residential Neighborhood
Advocates
The League of Residential Neighborhood Advocates (LRNA) is a non-profit
organization of concerned citizens devoted to the protection of
the unique characteristics that define those portions of our cities
dedicated to single family homes. We seek to secure and enhance
our neighborhoods through the enactment and enforcement of zoning
and land use laws and through public education.
We support the proposition that home ownership is a vital cornerstone
of the American dream. We seek to protect our neighborhoods from
the incursion of commercial, industrial or other non-conforming
uses that would diminish the beauty and integrity of the areas within
our communities that have been zoned for single family homes.
The League of Residential Neighborhood Advocates supports the uniform
and consistent application of building codes and zoning regulations
designed to maintain the safety, aesthetics and value of our residential
neighborhoods. We endorse fair housing laws and other legal prescriptions
that promote the concept of equal treatment under the law.
